Already some rewards for the Kickstarter backers have been given out. The Nerd Stash will continue to closely follow announcements from Critical Role regarding the production and details of the show. The cast has teased that if interest continues in the future, they may end up animating the entire Vox Machina storyline that was played out each week as a Dungeons and Dragons Livestream. Due to the massive success of the Kickstarter, the full arc will be animated. This arc will come directly from the previous episodes of Critical Role and deal with gunslinger Percival’s backstory and home. The series, titled The Legend of Vox Machina, will contain an original plotline before diving into the beloved Briarwood Arc. The other members of the cast of Critical Role – Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, and Liam O’Brien – attended in shorter bursts to give their input as well as pertinent information regarding their characters. Riegel and Willingham spearheaded the Story Summit along with the production team. They will also work to decide the final, key members of their animation and writing team and finalize the production schedule. From this point forward, now that a framework has been established, they will work to flesh out the details.
